Summons from Polis Diraja Malaysia (Royal Malaysia Police)

List of Offenses.
For the first time in my life, I saw how does a summons look like. . .

Thanks to the police officer above and also Royal Malaysia Police. . .

Too many tickets for this month *sweat*

I had won myself a lot of prizes and tickets.
I even "won" a summons. LOL xD
This month was really full of excitements and surprises for me.
I knew how to float in the water and swim;
I was "cut throat" by "highway pirates";
I had my second car accident in my life;
I got the invitation to attend the "
Gatsby Deodorant Street Fair" and won myself RM50;
I won MYR200 from ONEFM "Easy Cash" contest;
I got to know who "spanner-ed" my girlfriend;
I won two movie tickets for the "Clash of the Titans";
I got a phone call from a ex-coursemate, whom I did not contact for almost 3 years.
I attended the Jewish dinner at my friend's church;
I got the invitation to attend the "Project Alpha Season 2 Bloggers' Launch";
I got my first traffic ticket in my life;

During office hour, I had already felt that something was wrong. I kept thinking that I would get a summons for parking my car by the roadside inside the LRT compound. Then, I got what I had been thinking of - a police summons =.="
This would be either I had sixth sense or it was the "power" of the mind.

KEEP THINKING AND GET WHAT YOU ARE WISHING FOR ;)

**Keep thinking negatively, you might end up nowhere...
**Keep thinking positively, you might get something that you expect less...

KLCC LRT station was crowded

Nine LRTs arrived and leaved KLCC station but I still could not get into a train =.="
All of them were two coaches.
Where were the four coaches LRT?!! (>.<)
Finally, I managed to board the tenth train but I had to stand.

Good Deeds

One of the things I like about my company is that the staffs are helpful, friendly, kind and also... busybody.
There is no secret in my company.
You may know who is dating with whom; know whose children got top student in class; know who wear miniskirt to office :p
They are willing to help those who is in need.
One of my colleague's grandmother had passed away.
Everyone donated some money as "Bai Jin" (donation for deceased person's family members) to him.

Jewish Night

I was invited by C to join her and her friends for the Jewish Dinner at her church.

The table was so long. It could fit in around 50 - 60 people on this long table. There were 5 of them. Thus, the people who attended this event would be around 250 -300 people. It was so warm to have dinner with so many people ^^
The same food provided for everyone. There are steps in eating these food and also there is meaning behind each of them.
Look healthy and clean but for sure one could not be full by eating these things. Luckily, there were other food served after we finished all these food. All of the vegetables were eaten by dipping into the salty water. The most "challenging" part was to eat the bitter gourd. It was quite bitter to be eaten like that. There were four small cups of grape wine served as well.

*It was believed that if goat blood was smeared onto the door, the God of Death would passed over their house and would not enter their houses.

Credit card cancellation at United Overseas Bank (UOB)

The United Overseas Bank (UOB) is located just opposite the Bandaraya Star LRT and beside the Sogo shopping mall.
Sogo Shopping mall.

I went to cancel my credit cards during my lunch hour. I had to walk to Raja Chulan Monorail station from my office. Then, I alighted at Tititwangsa station and changed to the Star LRT to get to Bandaraya station. The staffs inside the bank seemed like they had not taken their lunch also. All of them were doing and processing their work slowly. I had to wait for about 30 minutes even though there were only five people in front of me in the queue. I spent around one and a half hours to get to UOB and go back to my office. It was so hot outside. I reached my office at 1.30 p.m. without taking my lunch =.="

The Clash of the Titans

I would be going to watch this movie for free on this coming Wednesday. Yeah!
I can't wait to watch this movie. The sound effect in the trailer was awesome!

The synopsis of the story:
In Clash of the Titans, the ultimate struggle for power pits men against kings and kings against gods. But the war between the gods themselves could destroy the world. Born of a god but raised as a man, Perseus is helpless to save his family from Hades, vengeful god of the underworld. With nothing left to lose, Perseus volunteers to lead a dangerous mission to defeat Hades before he can seize power from Zeus and unleash hell on earth. Leading a daring band of warriors, Perseus sets off on a perilous journey deep into forbidden worlds. Battling unholy demons and fearsome beasts, he will only survive if he can accept his power as a god, defy his fate and create his own destiny. Reimagined with state-of-the-art visual effects and cutting edge technology, Clash of the Titans is a timeless and awe-inspiring adventure set against the turbulent backdrop of Ancient Greece.

RM50 tax imposed on credit card

I have to cancel two of my United Overseas Bank (UOB) credit cards within this month due to the implementation of RM50 tax on principal card and RM25 on supplementary card by Malaysia government. I called the call center to ask them whether I can cancel my cards through phone but according to the operator, I have to clear the balance of both the cards before I can cancel them. Then, I also need to write a letter to state that I want to cancel the cards and fax it to the number that was given by the operator. I was surprised when the operator told me the amount of the balance that I have to pay. The balance of both the cards for previous and this month was RM1754.78 =.="
I did not know that I spent so much in these two months :P

60 Earth Hour

EARTH HOUR
Dark? Actually this was the photo I took by putting my mobile phone into my pocket xD
I was having dinner with my family then. We went out to eat to celebrate my third brother's achievements as he was among the Top Scorers in Malaysia and in the World for Certified Accounting
Technician(CAT) and also among the Top Scorers in Malaysia for Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Recently, he ranked the Top 3 for Audit Paper in the World. He won four Malaysian Prizes and one World Prize.

We were proud of him. We were proud of my second brother as well because he also won the Malaysia Prize and World Prize for CAT. Keep it up brothers!!! ;)

Reached home before 9.30 pm. I did not switch on the light in my room. I guessed I could contribute in this Earth Hour too by not switch on the light for 5 minutes :P

My Saturday just gone like that...

Wisma Hong Leong is located along Jln. Perak.

Today I had to go to work because of unfinished tasks given before going home yesterday. This morning after I paid a visit to the doctor at Pudu, I walked from there to my office in Wisma Hong Leong instead of taking public transport. It was tedious if I took any of the public transport. Taking either bus or train also had to wait for them to come then only could board. If I took the train, I had to change from Star LRT to Putra LRT and might as well need to walk.
Taking public transport = wasting time + money.

Prosperity Cafe @ Wisma Cosway. Only the chicken rice looks cheap.
I went to this shop to have brunch. The quality of the food was not so good but the boss looked friendly.

Farewell Dinner

Umbrella from Guardian @ RM6.00. Pink or green. Still look girlish even it is not pink =.="

Today I was supposed to leave office at 5.30 pm sharp because my friend told me that one of our colleagues would be leaving. Thus, there would be a farewell dinner at One Utama at 7.00 pm. I had promised to join them. Suddenly, my senior gave me work at around 5.00 pm. I felt very annoying. I had been sitting there doing nothing for the past few days or even longer. Why do people like to delay things until the last minute? Then, I heard my senior said that we had to come to work tomorrow as requested by the assistant project manager. I was in a hurry to go to the farewell. I asked my senior for permission to leave at 7.00 pm. He agreed but I had to come back to work tomorrow and finish the tasks. It started to rain when I walked out of the bank building. I did not bring an umbrella today. I was lazy to go upstairs again to borrow from colleague. I walked until Aloha and it started to rain heavily. In my mind, I think "Is God making fun of me? When I just walk out of the building, it starts to rain but it does not matter. Yet, this is the second time it suddenly rains heavily while I am walking to the LRT station." I had to run all the way to KLCC for shelter. I was wet. When I reached LRT, I called my brothers to ask them whether they had any umbrella and whether it was raining at Kelana station. They told me it was not raining. Thus, I did not buy an umbrella at KLCC. It was raining when I reached Kelana station. I could not run to my car because I parked it at a very far location. I would be wet from head to toe if I did that. My laptop, clothes and books would be wet as well. I went to the convenient shop in the LRT station to buy an umbrella. It was cheap. It costed me MYR6.00 only but the quality was not good. I took my car, fetched my brothers home, changed clothes and went to One Utama. When I reached there, everyone had ordered their food. Without further delay, I ordered mine. Everyone had their conversations. I was happy because they still remembered me and asked me along. After the dinner, I went home.

A University Friend

I received a call from a private number. I could not see the phone number. Thus, I did not know who was calling. When I picked up, it was a man's voice. He said, "*****, do you remember me?" His voice was familiar but I could not recall. I said, "Hmm... who are you?" Then, he told me his name. I remembered him. He was one of my close friends when I was studying in university. He came across my blog, took a glance at it and took the gist out of it. He asked about my feelings and conditions now. I told him that I would be all right. We had a long conversation. We talked about the things that happened to us after our graduation. It had been three years since we last met. I was glad to receive his call and appreciated it. I mentioned in my previous post that I did not appreciate my friends during secondary school. I think even now I still do not really know how to appreciate my friends. If I really appreciate my friends, I shall know what have happened to them recently and shall take any necessary actions. All this while I just blame others for not asking me along in any activities and taking care of my feelings. Yet, I do not even bother what have happened to the people around me and their feelings. I think the saying is true; "If you want others to care about you, you yourself should take the first step by caring the people around you."

Go shopping when unhappy?

I wanted to use some vouchers that were given to me when I applied for United Overseas Bank (UOB) credit card. There were quite a lot of vouchers but not all of them were useful to me.
Look what we got here~
Three shopping bags from Pavillion after a short lunch hour :P
Erm... Three books. Most probably they would be left on my bookshelf and sooner would be covered by dust.
I think this is called a hat?
Etienne Aigner Perfume for Man @ RM255 with free gifts.
I thought this is a brand that produces mainly women's products but there are men's also.
In the end, I got RM30 vouchers from Parkson as well.

I guessed that shopping worked for a man also when he is unhappy xD

23 March 2010 - Putra LRT Breakdown

We were asked to alight from the train. It was so crowded.

"Relax man~ Come and take a seat while waiting. It's gonna take some time..."
"Hello Boss, what chiu wanna eat~ Oops...Hello Boss, I would be late today. Thanks to the LRT"
Abdullah Hukum Station.Pasar Seni Station.
Platform 2 @ Pasar Seni.
Wisma Tun Sambanthan from afar.
It became so crowded when the promising train was not reached yet even after the passengers of two trains disembarked at Pasar Seni.

Putra LRT

This morning Putra LRT was having technical problem again. I reached Kelana Jaya LRT around 8.20 am. After I boarded the train,the train was still not moving even after five minutes. The train only started to move at 8.50 am. It kept stopping for quite some time at every station. It stopped at Abdullah Hukum station and we were requested to alight because the train would not bein service. Everyone had to get out of the train. There were at least one hundred of passengers in the train at that time. It was 9.20 am then. The operator made an announcement that the problem occurred due to the traffic from Wangsa Maju to Ampang. It would take approximately two hours to fix the problem. It caused the train to stop for ten minutes at each station. There was another announcement when the train stopped at KL Sentral. We were asked to disembark from the train at Pasar Seni atation. If we would like to continue our journey to destinations further from Pasar Seni, we could take another train at platform 2. It was 10.05 am then.I had already informed my superior about the incident through SMS as my reason for coming late. The efficiency and effectiveness of the public transport in Malaysia...Malaysia Boleh! =.="
Finally, I reached the office at 10.45 am.

**After lunch, my colleagues were talking about this morning LRT breakdown. They also mentioned that someone suicided at the LRT sometime ago. I did not know about it. It was so horrible. Would the LRT become a haunted place?
