Mood Swing

Suddenly feel everything around me is so "grey".

Want to find someone to talk to but I cannot think of anyone at all...

Talk to friends? Very few friends... and no one is suitable...

Talk to family members? Just let them worry only...

Talk to colleagues? They go to office to do work... and not that close also...

Talk to myself? It's boring...

It's almost 4.00 am and I still awake...tik tok tik tok...

Later 7.30 am need to go to work already... ZZZzzz

MY Internet and Broadband Sux!

Why most of the Internet services in MY are so lousy?

We, as a consumer, pay so much money to get the services but in the end, we do not get the services that are so promising.

Don't talk about the speed.

The connection problem is critical!

Many people face connection problems with the Internet services provided.

They are either cannot connect to the Internet at all or the line keeps dropping.

Previously, I subscribed to "Yellow Guy" Broadband.

The speed was somewhat accepted but the stability of the line was bad.

Sometimes, my line kept dropping for unacceptable times within an hour.

Then, when I tried to report to the customer service through their online customer service (OCS), I would get a slow reply because I would get a message sounded like "Your connection detected to be dropped. You will be automatically connected back as soon as the connection is resumed."

When I reported the case to the representatives, they would tell me to do some unnecessary steps, which might not be related to my case and they would not make a log/report on what I told them.

I was telling one of the representatives on my case but so happened that the line dropped.

When I tried to open back a conversation, I was assigned to another representative.

I had to tell this representative from the beginning all over again.

In the end, they told me to send an email to their customer service email.

I tried to send for more than 10 times but I just got a reply email saying "This is an automatic reply from the system. The server is busy now. Please try to send again later."

I tried to send again in the next morning.

The same reply was sent to me.

It was irritating.

In the end, I was remained helpless and the issue was not solved.

When I went back to OCS to leave a feedback, they just replied me with some of the generic answers, which did not answer to my questions at all!

I was fed up and I terminated the "Yellow Guy" Broadband last Sunday after I had my "Fiber Optics" Broadband installed on the same day (19th June 2011).

The speed of the "Fiber Optics" was almost the same as "Yellow Guy" Broadband.

This is because "Yellow Guy" Broadband is claimed to have speed up to 3.6 Mbps and TM "Fiber Optics" Broadband is claimed to have speed up to 5.0 Mbps for my subscribed package.

I thought it would be more stable as TM is the biggest Telecommunication Company in MY and it is supported by the government.

For the first night, I could use the Internet without any disruptions.

I was away on the second night.

When I was back on the third night (21st June 2011), I could not connect to the Internet at all.

I tried to call the customer service for around 15 minutes each time but I just kept listening to the same message "Pegawai perkhidmatan kami masih sibuk. Sila tunggu. Panggilan anda sangat bagi kami. (Our customer service representatives are all busy. Please hold.)"

I tried to call the Malay channel and the English channel, I just got the same message over and over again.

There was no one answered to my call.

I kept calling for several times but to no avail for more than an hour.

Then, an option from the main menu caught my attention.

I chose option 1 for service disruption announcement and heard that there would be maintenance from 12 am - 6 am, 22nd June 2011.

However, I was calling between 8.30 - 10.45 pm.

If they wanted to make it earlier, they should make the announcement or at least should answer the F*CK-ing phone calls to inform the customers!

If there is so shortage of staffs, why not hire more staffs or just make sure the Internet services are up and stable.

I also heard that the customer service staffs in an MSC company were not doing their work properly.

They do not answer the phone calls even though the telephones on their desks are ringing and they would choose to chit-chat with their colleagues instead.

How to make the country "stronger", competitive and up to par with other countries if our people do not do their work properly and try to improve themselves. . .

I visited an older town in Bangladesh and Vietnam previously and I found that their Internet connections are quite stable and FAST!

I am not saying that the countries are not developed compare to MY but MY is in upper hand in many aspects.

Yet, why in this case a big city like KL, which has famous building that was once the tallest building in the world, has poor Internet services (for residential use. I'm not sure for corporate use).

[Internet resumed at 11:30 pm. Most probably they performed the maintenance at earlier hours]

Nightmare

This morning I had a nightmare.

In the dream, I was staying with a Bangladeshi (no offense) and some foreign workers. (I also don't know why =.=)

One day, I shouted at one of them (can't recall what happen).

The next thing I knew was that my laptop went missing.

All of my dramas, movies, documents, data and photos were gone.

I felt like I wanted to die because all my life memories after my secondary school and my precious photos were gone.

I could not accept this fact.

Suddenly, I remembered that I had a back up in my external hard disk in my cupboard but when I opened my cupboard, the external hard disk was missing also.

I was so depressed.

Then, I received an SMS from the Bangladeshi saying that he would "take good care" of my laptop and hard disk.

After that, I saw my laptop and hard disk were in a trading website like "lelong.com" or "eBay".

People were bidding for them.

I did not know what to do.

I was thinking of calling the police but it did not seem to help because what could they do?

I did not think they could catch the thieves and get back the laptop and hard disk immediately.

In worst case, maybe they could not get them back for me at all.

Then, I kept thinking "this isn't true. . .this is just a dream..." and I relieved when I woke up and it was indeed a dream.

Phewwww...

My hard disk "died"

Still felt unlucky after the MEAT incident . . .

I took a day leave last Monday because I knew I could not drive back on the same night after the wedding dinner.

It would be tiring and dangerous.

When I woke up that day, I tried to switch on my laptop but it did not start.

I was getting an error message something like "PXE E61 Media Test Failure, Check Cable - PXE M0F exiting Intel Boot Agent".

I tried to search for that and it related mostly to hard disk failure.

The computer could not find where to boot.

I went to Lowyat Acer Service Center at 4th Floor - "Highpoint" to check on this.

The technician told me that my warranty had expired last year but still he helped me to check.

He looked at the error message.

He took out my hard disk and put a new hard disk.

It was working.

He told me that my hard disk was "dead" and it was not moving.

I asked him whether I could perform data recovery for that as all my documents, photos and data are inside the hard disk.

He told me that I could try my luck at a shop near the lift.

I went there and asked the person at the counter but she told me that they could not perform data recovery if the hard disk was not moving anymore.

She said a hard disk is still recoverable if it could not be detected by BIOS but is still spinning.

I felt sad but luckily I did a backup last month after I bought a new 1 T external hard disk.

Yet, I still lost some data from early last month until 6th June :s

This afternoon my friend asked me for lunch.

He came to my workplace to find me.

We went to Dengkil for lunch.

I asked him about the nasty accident again and also the newspapers that reported about it as well as MEAT.COM!!!

He avoided them and laughed when I said MEAT.COM.

I assumed he was making fun of me the other day =.=

Yet, I wondered what meat was that on the highway...

Until today I still feel sick when I think about it...

LDP Nasty Accident? 1st June 2011? Chinese Newspapers?

My friend told me that he confirmed there was a nasty accident at LDP yesterday. (*shaking*)

He said his parents saw the news in one of the Chinese newspapers but he did not know the name of the newspapers.

He said the victim was a Chinese lady, who was crossing the highway, was knocked down and her body was ran over by cars until became pieces.

I asked my mother to look for the news in her office newspapers but she told me that there was no such news.

I felt so uncomfortable and sick.

I messaged my friend to ask him for more details such as which newspapers but he did not answer that.

Then, he replied me and asked me to visit meat.com.

I searched from Google and the description written for this website is "Buy Bison Meat · Buy Buffalo Meat · Dry Aged Beef · Meat Mixers · Meat Grinders · Meat Slicers".

I messaged my friend again and angrily asked him whether he was trying to make fun of me and creating a story that was not true but he did not reply me ><

LDP Highway... Accident?

I was on the way to watch movie at IOI Mall from Cyberjaya using LDP.

It was around 8:30 - 8:45 pm.

There was a little traffic jam from Puchong Perdana until IOI Mall.

The speed of cars was maintained at around 40 - 60 KM/h.

I just followed the car in front of me.

There was nothing special along the way until I passed Lelong building on my right.

When reaching the area below the bridge to Bandar Puteri...

When getting nearer...

Pieces of flesh were seen scattered on the road that almost covering all three of the lanes!!!

The cars in front of me were not slowing down or pulling over to a halt.

Even I, myself also did not manage to slow down.

All the cars just rolled over those pieces of flesh.

There were tiny bits of flesh stuck on my windscreen.

I did not feel anything then as it was occurred too swiftly.

After that, my brain was functioning back.

Pictures of those pieces of flesh came into my mind.

From the area covered by those flesh, the flesh did not seem to be belonged to the corpse of a dog or cat. . .

The area was just too wide.

Then, my mind kept thinking and thinking. . .

Will it be the flesh of a . . .

I was not feeling well after that.

I felt like I wanted to vomit @@

...those pieces of flesh...highway...my windscreen...

I did not dare to think further . . .

After movie, I went to my friend's house to wash my car (12.30 am) . . .

My friend's house is at Bandar Puteri, Puchong.

I had to pass that area again but this time I was on the flyover just above the scene.

While I was driving home from my friend's house, I took a peek at the back seats from the rear mirror occasionally @@
