Let's save our Mother Earth!

Today is the Earth Day. We shall take measures to save our planet for now and the future. Our planet Earth is endangered now. What have we done to our Mother Nature? Almost all of our activities will harm the Mother Earth and will probably consume the resources of the Earth.

Logging activities cause the soil at the forests to be loosen because the trees that hold the ground are cut down for timber. This will cause landslides. One of the examples is the landslides that occurred at Genting Highlands. These tragedies took lives and caused property loss. Greedy loggers and developers cut trees illegally to gain profits. The loggers earn profits by selling the lumbers of high quality trees. The developers cut trees and clear the ground to build houses, condominiums, villas and bungalows to gain profits. Sooner or later, the number of trees will be insufficient to absorb the carbon dioxide that is released from various sources. Global warming is happening as the number of trees is getting lesser and lesser.

As the countries over the World developing, industrialization happens. As a result, a lot of pollutants are created. Factories are emitting thick smoke and fumes through the chimneys. There are more and more vehicles on the road from day by day. Carbon monoxide that is released by vehicles is polluting the air. Factories also release toxic substances into rivers. This will contaminate the water and poison the organism. This will lead to extinction of marine organism. This may cause harm to human beings as well after they consume food made by this polluted organism.

Ages ago, human beings used charcoal as their source of energy. Nowadays, human beings is using petroleum, natural gas and nuclear to produce energy for daily life use and commercial use. These kinds of resources will also be depleted after some time. Alternative or renewable sources of energy such as wind, solar, biomass and water are created to generate energy.

Ways to save our Earth:

Plant trees.

Use renewable source of energy.

Use energy saving appliances such as products that have "Energy Star" label.

Reduce electricity usage in daily life.

Avoid using plastic bags.

Use products made by recyclable materials.

Car-pooling.

Factories must treat the waste before releasing into air, water and earth.

"I Hate Valentine's Day" movie preview

It was just another free movie preview. Thanks to Cinema Online for giving me the chance to win the tickets. However, I just used one of the tickets. The other ticket was wasted. No friend had extra hours to entertain me.

The movie is about a lady who does not believe in true love. She thinks that nothing is eternity. She loves to be wooed and to be dated but she never let herself to fall in love. She thinks that she is happier for being single and unattached. She has her own rule. Her rule is that she will break up with a man after the fifth date. She loves romantic man but she is not serious in relationship. She thinks that after the romance moment, it is time to move on and she will not get hurt.

I wonder if every girl also has the same thinking as her. Men have to put efforts, need to make preparations and think hard to be romantic. Yet, it is not every man will be lucky to get someone, who loves him as much as he does.

What will happen when two people are really in love but choose not to be together because of a rule? Go and watch the movie to find out the ending of the story! ;)

PISCES MAN

He is very emotional and always allow himself to be very emotional. He can have a good night sleep and be in a good mood, and less than few hours at work he can be very moody. He does not understand things or try to understand things easily. If you notice him carefully, you will notice what kind of moods he is in.

He is a thinker and able to do well at work and always succeed. His normal gestures mean he always look at other people faults, but he will not talk about it. He has the ability to know your thought and able to tell you what you are thinking about.

He is not a very ambition man and careless about his position in society. Wealth does not drawn his attention, because he is not greedy man and as well he thinks money is not something that will last. He could be very careless about his future. He does not like to fight against all odds, but instead following the stream and make life easier. Sometimes because he likes to take an easy path, which cause him very unsteady future.

He is kind and slightly lazy, but it is his cute character. He hates rules and regulations. He will never look down on people. He is a polite guy and can be very aggressive when he is mad. He loves to think that he lives in a beautiful world and surround by nice people, so if he finds his world is cruel and not what he expects, he will live in his world instead.

His other charm is that he is a funny guy, and it is his real weapon. He can tease you and yet make it looks like one of his joke. Even when he is sad, he still has that funny face, so you could hardly tell if he is mad or depress. He likes to hide his feeling and help other people especially those who need friend or lonely.

He will be everything that you want and everything you do not want. He has a chance to make it as much as a chance to fail. He can determine to make it work and can do it well, except he tends to lost his energy with other important things, that's how he miss many of his good opportunity.

He can be happy and content by himself. What he think is important is not "Love" ,but firm status and stability. He has plenty of love for you.

He is a good speaker, as much as he is a good listener. When he is with you, he wants to be happy. He understand his partner's emotional. He likes to take a long rest and sometimes being alone. If he needs to be alone, try not to disturb him.

He is a sensitive, quiet, shy and easily hurt. He wants to feel worthy. He can be mad and noisy, but once he calm down, he will be that happy person again. He is not a jealous or possessive guy, and if he feels jealous he will hide it. He has many friends of both sex, and he care about his friends. He likes to have lots of friends, so you can not get jealous or else you will lose him. He likes beautiful things, so if a pretty woman walk by he will look ,so do not get mad at him knowing this fact.

When he is lonely or feeling sad, be close to comfort him. He does not like to take advice,so if you want him to listen or to follow your advice, you have to act as a good sample for him first. He likes a cheery and a smart woman. If you treat him like he is your special person, then he will be that special person for you. He will trust you if he is in love, but try not to over doing it and spoil him too much. You have to know yourself worth all the time too.

PISCES WOMAN

She likes to be in a dream world than to be in reality. She is weak and sensitive when it's come to "Love". She can cry if her best friend is breaking up, and she can be over excited when her friend gets a new boy friend who is a good looking and rich even it is nothing concerned her at all. She will be soft and gentle most of the time, so not to worry. She is emotional and extremely sensitive when she frequently got hurt. She is the type who can cry her heart out.

I just came back from Hong Kong yesterday afternoon. It was so tiring. I did not have chance to update my blog while I was in Hong Kong. I had to go to airport a few hours after I attended the Project Alpha Season 2 Bloggers' Launch last Wednesday night. It was held at 7.30 pm at Cathay Cineleisure on 7th of April 2010. I received the invitation from Nuffnang to attend this event a few weeks ago. There would be screening for the movie "Kick Ass" after the launching. I invited my friend to join me but he had something to be settled on that night. Thus, I went there alone before 7.30 pm. I saw a lot of people queueing in a line to take the goodies and movie tickets. Some of them were so outstanding and fashionable when looking at the clothes they were wearing. There were a deodorant (Adidas Action 3) from Adidas and a mascara from Rimmel London inside the goodies bag.

Project Alpha Season 2 was presented by Adidas Action 3 and was supported by official broadband provider P1 W1MAX; official airline Malaysia Airlines; official social microsite Ruumz.com; official online news portal thedailychilli.com; official hair and make-up A Cut Above; official cosmetics Rimmel London; official hotel 360 Hotel, Kuching; with special thanks to the Millennium Hotel at Mayfair, London, UK. After I took the goodies and the movie tickets, I walked around and took some photos. I also took some photos with some of the seven featured bloggers. I had to thank Nuffnang for giving me the chance to get up-close with the seven featured bloggers, namely Adidas brand ambassador, Ninie Ahmad, local celebrity Azwan Ali, journalist, actor and social media advocate Niki Cheong, food-blogger KY Teoh, British-born but localised Gareth Davies aka Shaolin Tiger, the fashionable Ringo Tan aka Cheesie, and multi-talented journalist Joe Lee aka Klubbkidd. I was so happy because I could take photo with the host of Project Alpha Season 2, Jojo Struys. She was quite beautiful. I could also meet the famous Singaporean blogger Xia Xue in person as she made a guest appearance at the launch. After taking photos, I felt so hungry because I did not have my dinner yet as I rushed to the cinema from my office. It was so nice as there is a preview lounge in Cathay Cineleisure. All the guests could take food served on the table outside of the lounge. It was quite comfortable inside the lounge. I felt like an artiste in this event. I got to take photos with other celebrities by the cameraman, got to eat free food provided in a cosy lounge and could watch free movie preview.

We could enter the hall around 30 minutes before the movie started. I went into the hall and saw several people were sitting inside the cinema already. I used my phone to open MSN messenger as it was boring to wait until the movie to start. I felt a bit sad when I looked at the seat beside me. Once again, I had to watch movie alone. Suddenly, I thought of a friend who is staying nearby. It was about 3 minutes by car to reach the cinema. It was 9.15 pm then. I was chatting with her through MSN. I asked her whether she wanted to join me or not but she said she had already worn her pyjamas and was lazy to go out anymore. I told her that I would be watching the preview with Xia Xue. She did not believe me. Then, I told her that Xia Xue and others would be in the same cinema as me even though they did not sit with me. Later, she scolded me for not asking her earlier. She might join me if I asked her an hour ago. She told me that she wanted to see Xia Xue in person. She wanted to see whether Xia Xue's breasts are really big and whether she is really very short. I promised to take photos for her to see. I forgot to take photo with Xia Xue before the screening. After the movie, I waited for her to come out and asked her to take a photo with me but she said her friends were leaving. She apologized.

I went home after that. I packed my things into my luggage as soon as I reached home. Then, I was surfing the Internet until the taxi driver reached at 3.30 am. He put my luggage into car then headed to the airport. I waited in the waiting area for about 2 hours before boarding the plane.

Religion

Does anyone know the reason of having a religion?

Does anyone know the true meaning of having a religion?

Will you compare your religion with other religions?

Will you think your religion is better than other religions?

From my point of view, there is no such thing as to which religion is better.

I believe that every religion on this planet earth would ask its worshipper to perform good deeds and prohibit notorious or evil deeds.

Every religion encourages its worshipper to be kind, helpful and honest.

You shall not only help the people who have the same religion as you but also the people of other religions as well.

You should not only mix with people who have the same religion as you.

Is it important whether you will go to heaven or hell for your afterlife?

If you perform good deeds just because you do not want to be tormented in hell, then I will think that you are insincere and selfish.

I am sure you will go to somewhere that you are deserved to be if your actions come from deep inside your heart without hoping anything in return.

Have you ever urged by someone to change your religion or to believe in a religion?

It is good to share something good with others but if you use the wrong way or if you keep "pushing", you may not get what you desired and may only make things worse.

For example, a salesperson is trying to sell a product to you. The salesperson may keep talking and talking to explain to you that the product has a lot of functions and advantages. You may listen carefully and patiently at first. However, if the salesperson still keep promoting the product after you show no interest or after you almost "shake your head off", then you will think that the salesperson is irritating.

There is no use to urge someone to join your religion aggressively. You are not promoting a product or service. The action that you should take is simple. You only have to give the correct message and leave the decision on his or her hands.

Not enough time to do personal matters after work...

These two days I only slept for approximately 2 hours each day. I slept at 4.30 am and woke up at 6.30 am. Today was the third time I fell asleep in the LRT and slept until I missed the KLCC station. I stopped at Ampang Park, which is a station from KLCC station. It was so tired. However, I did not feel sleepy while I was in office.

I just came back from movie. This movie was not as good as I expected. The storyline was simple and might be boring at some parts because it seemed to be dragging. The sound effects were not as good as the day I watched the trailer in cinema. This maybe due to the cinema hall itself. If the movie was shown in Hall 2 or Hall 3, then the sound effects would be better because these two halls were THX certified. We watched it at GSC, 1 Utama Hall 11. The sound system in this hall was not good. It was worse than any other halls. I could not feel the surround system at all. The computer graphics (CG) in the movie was not that good and might look a little fake. The CG in the "Lords of The Rings" was a lot better. The duration of the movie is only 1 hour 30 minutes.
