CIMB Bank Fortune 10 contest

The CIMB Bank Fortune 10 contest runs from 1st June 2013 - 30 September 2013.

Before I went for vacation in Taiwan, I received an SMS from CIMB asking me to answer two simple questions and I would be notified if I were one of the 2500 monthly winners.

This morning when I just came back from Taiwan, I received another SMS from CIMB saying that I was one of the 2500 winners for the month of August 2013 and the interest had been credited into my savings account!

I was so excited and I felt I was so LUCKY!

I logged into my CIMBClicks account and checked the transaction history.

I saw the last transaction was yesterday with description "CREDIT ADVICE".

I called the CIMB customer service to clarify the entry.

The customer service personnel was blur and did not clear about this contest.

She asked me to give her some times to check on it.

Later she said this was the amount that I won since there was no more latest transaction.

She also could not provide me with a formula so that I could calculate on my own.

When I looked at the amount of money I got as the prize, I felt so disappointed.

I had only won RM9.14 =.="

Do you feel I am lucky now? zzzZZZ

I think this contest is s**ks...

Maybe I did not read the T & C properly.

The blog post below seemed to identify some important points clearly:

http://invest-made-easy.blogspot.com/2013/06/cimbs-fortune-10-contest-want-to-win-10.html

Maybe I should put in more money e.g. 1 million ringgits into my savings account... that only if I have that amount of money :p

However, CIMB Bank capped the prize at RM1,000 for any monthly winners.

Thus, you can only win RM1,000 maximum even if you put in millions of ringgits into your savings account.

zzzZZZ...

Met Bubu after a year++

It's been some time since I last seen Bubu.

A few days ago I dreamed of her and strangely... Michael Jackson in the dream as well.

This morning I saw a lady holding hand with a big size mature guy while I was having my breakfast with family at Kam Xuan Dim Sum Restaurant, Damansara Utama.

I was not so sure at first but I covered part of my face also.

She did not put much makeup today.

She looked pale but still looking good.

I still felt unhappy when I saw her with a guy (should be her boyfriend) even though it's some times ago.

They was waiting for their turn to be seated.

They just sat two tables away.

I just looked at her from afar.

It's time to leave as we had already finished our food.

She was so sweet to "serve" the food to her boyfriend :(

Why let me meet her again... with her boyfriend beside her?

PJ is quite big also.

Why two people can meet at the same place and at the same time?

It's gotta be kidding me...

Free EQ Test and Result - The Institute for Health and Human Potential

My Result =.="

People in this range often find themselves blowing up at their co-workers, even their loved ones. They seem to have less 'buffer' for dealing with change, stress and difficulty. Some people also report depression or feeling 'lost' in life. Are you allowing the 'winds' of change to direct you - instead of setting your own course using an internal compass? Are you responding to life and its challenges with fear and insecurity rather than passion and purpose? Emotional intelligence can be learned and improved - with big payoffs! Studies of entrepreneurs and employees at some of the world's top organizations, show that EQ counts for twice as much as IQ and technical skills combined in defining who will be a star. Improving EQ results in better relationships, greater health and a happier outlook on life! Areas to work on: Given that self-awareness is the foundation of EQ, you might want to start here on the road to higher EQ. Ask yourself: - What situations generally create tension and stress for you? How are you handling these situations? - What negative thoughts play over and over in your mind on a regular basis? Are these a true picture of reality? - Are you afraid to share your needs and feelings with others? Is it because you are taking care of everyone else - being a martyr - or acting 'the strong, silent type'? If we have trouble expressing our emotional needs - if we regularly put others needs before our own - there's a good chance that we will one day wake up feeling empty, hostile, or depressed. Don't let this happen to you! Take care of yourself! Express your key needs. It may be difficult at first - but research shows it will be a win-win. So move into the 'zone of discomfort' to express those needs and you will be rewarded for your hard work several times over! This is one of the key steps to building emotional intelligence. You'll be happier - and those around you will understand you better, and be grateful for the feedback. Remember, if life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we respond, then we hold the power to create the lives we want!

Do you know how to calculate the credit limit of a credit card for a particular month?

I have these two Maybankard 2 credit cards.

Do you know how to count the credit limit?

Maybe just I didn't know...

For your reference in case you also do not know this :-)

e.g. the combined credit limit for two cards is RM 10,000.

The credit limit will be reduced if you have installment plans in either cards.

For example, you have a 12-months installment plan for Senheng product RM 1,200 and a 24-months installment plan for beauty product RM 2,400 on June 2013.

Your credit limit will be reduced to RM 6,400 for June 2013.

Next month July 2013, the credit limit will be RM 6,600.

After 12 months June 2014, your credit limit will become RM 8,800.

After 24 months June 2015, your credit limit will eventually return to RM 10,000.

Thus, plan before you buy something through installment.

If you bought something that cost RM 9,000, your credit limit will become RM 1,000 only for the coming month.

Funny! This is when vocabulary plays its part. . .

Colleague A: My father has moved on (passed away?) . . .

Colleague B: How's your father? Is he all right?

It's funny when I heard this but at the same time it's sad to hear such bad news @.@

My condolences to colleague A.

The Blackout Magic Trick (source from Facebook)

Rakyat cuma mahu suara mereka didengar.

Tiba-tiba majikan sekarang berkata beliau mahu menaikkan gaji anda sebanyak RM 100.

The people just wanted to be heard and had their rights to vote. No such thing as "Chinese Tsunami"!

The people just wanted to be heard and had their rights to vote.

No such thing as "Chinese Tsunami"!

How to be a good leader to lead us if the leader himself is also being a racist?

A leader should not make such statement that may harm the harmony among the races.

Remember that the voters for both sides are from all races and not to mention that Chinese is not the biggest race in this country.

It's not a racial issue.

Thus, we should not be influenced or tried to create a havoc among the races by using the term such as "Chinese Tsunami".

It's about the development of the nation and a change for a better country.

Let's say...

You are a Malay, Chinese, Indian or from other races, who works with either a Malay, Chinese, Indian boss or a boss from other races for some time, and now you wish to find a new job to look for a better job and boss.

Suddenly, your current boss offers you an increment of MYR100.

Some of you may stay to continue working with the current boss because of that small increment/benefit.

Yet, some of you may choose to change to a new job even if the wage is the same or even lower than the current job because they think they can be more successful and have a better future.

However, if the current boss stops you from changing to the new job by doing something "dirty".

Are you still willing to work with the current boss with all your heart?

Your choice is totally taken away from you.

All the people should have their rights to make their own choices.

Thus, let's put away our discrimination, our hatred, our selfishness and anything that may harm each other and think wisely together to create a better future for everyone.

I had realized my responsibility as a Malaysia citizen this afternoon

This was the first time I went for voting.

A little excited ^^

Just finished voting. My finger was painted with inedible ink.

About half an hour to one hour after voting, I could easily wash until like this. It might look slightly dark red but not as dark as expected but it's still acceptable to show that I had voted.
