Another year had passed by.
Last year was a good year for me.
I was happy because I could have a group of nice friends,
just like when I was studying in secondary school.
I had been joining them in many activities in the past one year.
I also found my happiness but it did not last long.
Now, I am back to square one.
I am all alone again.
I felt that I was lost.
If I were given a wish, I hope everything will be the same as before.
I wish that the happy moments can last forever.
If all the thing happened last year was just a dream,
I hope I would never wake up from this dream.
The reality is so cruel !!!
Why give me hope and take it away?
It was really hurt . . .

Just back from dinner.
My parents said they wanted to celebrate my birthday.
We just went to a restaurant to have dinner together.
No cake... no birthday song... no present...
Erm...never mind ler. Big boy does not need all this already?

Buy Shoes during Chinese New Year?
I told my colleagues that I went to shop for shoes that day.
They said I should not buy shoes during Chinese New Year.
This is because the pronunciation of shoes in Cantonese is "hai (嗨)", which has the meaning of sigh because "hai..." or "haiz..." sounds like the sound uttered by someone who is expressing a sigh.
Thus, it is superstitiously not good to buy shoes during Chinese New Year.
I might keep sighing throughout the year.
It is okay for me ;)
No difference . . .
Who cares!!!
* Chinese also believes that if you give a pair of shoes as a present to your partner, it will chase your partner away.

Weird Look
This morning I saw a man in his 30's,
who had his own way of presenting himself in the LRT station.
He had a "coconut" hairstyle.
He was wearing a white singlet, grey short pants and yellow shoes.
He was wearing a sunglasses too.
There was a tattoo on his left leg. I could barely see what it was.
He was carrying an ipod and a lady handbag look-alike bag.
I feel... I feel... so funny!
LOL xD

One of My Favourite Song during Secondary School
Backstreet Boys - As Long As You Love Me
Although loneliness has always been a friend of mine
I'm leaving my life in your hands
People say I'm crazy and that I am blind
Risking it all in a glance
And how you got me blind is still a mystery
I can't get you out of my head
Don't care what is written in your history
As long as you're here with me
Chorus:
I don't care who you are
Where you're from
What you did
As long as you love me
Who you are
Where you're from
Don't care what you did
As long as you love me
Every little thing that you have said and done
Feels like it's deep within me
Doesn't really matter if you're on the run
It seems like we're meant to be
Although loneliness has always been a friend of mine
I'm leaving my life in your hands
People say I'm crazy and that I am blind
Risking it all in a glance
And how you got me blind is still a mystery
I can't get you out of my head
Don't care what is written in your history
As long as you're here with me

Where you're from

Last CNY gathering for 2010
Today was "People's Day(人日)". My secondary school friends organized a gathering. I was glad they still remembered me and asked me along. We "lou sang" again today. There were fish, vegetable, squid, prawn, chicken, pork's leg and deer's meat in this dinner. They estimated each table would be around RM280. There were 2 tables all together. All of them talked about the things they did last time. I did not know how to interrupt and what to say. Now only I noticed I did not join them for a long time already. Many things I did not know. I just listened and laughed. When I saw some of the couples who were so sweet to each other, it made me thought of my ex-girlfriend. When my friends helped their girlfriends to take dishes, it reminded me of my ex-girlfriend, who did the same to me while we were on a trip in Langkawi Island. I felt down and no mood right away. They would be going to a friend's house to have second round, which was drinking beer. I was so drunk in the annual dinner. Tonight I did not want to be drunk even though I felt unhappy. I did not join them but go home instead. This would be the last Chinese New Year gathering for this year.

Quote of the Day
Falling in love is not finding the perfect person.
It is learning to love an imperfect person perfectly.

Summary
The foolish things that I did for this relationship that I would not regret and thought they were worth it:
- Bought a cheese cake from Secret Recipe and sent it to her as her breakfast at 5 am when it was raining.
- Bought an air ticket at an expensive rate to Thailand to visit her on her very first trip without thinking of own safety.
- Searched around for a cheap RM300 room in Bandar Utama area with air-con and other facilities for her to move in after she came back from her trip.
- Sent a banquet of red roses to office for her on her birthday. I just wrote Mr. Pig as my nickname because I knew that she did not want to be the gossip topic in our company.
- Organized and celebrated her birthday at Wings Cafe.
- Bought bed sheet, carpet, curtains, pillow sheet, pillow, laundry bag, vase, lamps and cushion to decorate her room after found the suitable room so that when she came back, she could stay comfortably.
- Spent 7 days and nights, with a few nights stayed until 5 am, to make heart-shaped origami for her. All together 100 pieces but only 99 pieces were put into a gift box. Last piece was kept by me.
- Wrote a love letter and put it into the box as well.
- There was also a female piggy key chain. I kept the male one. I bought this from Hanoi trip. They will say "I Love U" if two pigs were kissing each other. (Now, I guess they would not have the chance to be together again)
- Cooked peanut soup for her. It was my first time in cooking soup. (Taste still okay and no stomachache)
- Baked a cake for her. Although it was simple, I used a lot of efforts to bake it. It was my first time in baking a cake also. (She said it tasted good and brought some to the office to share with her teammates)
- Bought the famous Tau Fu Fa and ABC from my hometown. (Before I started to chase her, I joked with her that I would buy her tau fu fa on Valentine Day)
- Fetched her to work every morning when she was in Malaysia and bought her breakfast.
- Fetched her to bus station so that she could take bus back to her hometown. (I wanted to fetch her back to her hometown but was not allowed)
- Went for clubbing and learned to drink alcohol.
Promises that made by me but never kept:
- Would bring her to eat delicious food when she came back to Malaysia.
- Would bring her to Luna Bar to see the beautiful scenery.
**Not my fault. She kept asking her friends to join instead of going out one on one with me. I tried my best to keep my promise. It was difficult for me because she did not want to announce our relationship. In front of others, we just acted like normal friend. I could not take care of her or show my love when we go out in a group.
Promises that made by her but never kept:
- Would cook porridge for me when she came back to Malaysia.
- Would let me fetch her back to her hometown and bring me to walk around.
- Would let me choose when I was given options. (In fact, she had decided on how and what to do but still gave me hope that I had a choice)
