This email confirms that we have received your feedback regarding the exchange rate charged to your credit card by your bank. Please be informed of the following:
1) We bill all our customers in USD as it is the international currency for e- commerce and the majority of our customers reside outside Malaysia. All products sold on our website is denominated in both USD and MYR.
2) We use the world's most secure Internet Payment Gateway "WorldPay" and not local Malaysian payment gateway for your added protection. If you feel strongly that a Malaysian payment gateway is better than WorldPay, we would be happy to offer you that option as we have the facility available. Kindly make your request with our customer service in future when you place an order.
3) As MYR is not an internationally tradeable currency we have chosen not to use MYR for transactions conducted on our international payment gateway.
4) We do not have access to your credit card information and we have no right to extract or store any information thereof.
5) If your credit card is denominated in any currency other than USD, the bank that issued your credit card will convert the USD to your local currency in an exchange rate determined by the date and time of that transaction and the rate is determined by your bank. Please be informed that this conversion rate is not determined by Love.com.my and we have no influence whatsoever over the exchange rate.
6) If your converted value exceeds the MYR price stated on the website, we will be happy to refund you the difference as part of our additional service to our customers. We would like to put on record that, we are not refunding you because we are wrong but we are refunding you because we want you to be happy and continue supporting Love.com.my.
7) If you want to request for a refund of the difference between the converted amount in RM compared to our website product price, please furnish us via email, an attachment of your credit card statement page showing the transaction and the converted amount.
8) We will refund the difference using the same original conversion rate in USD to your credit card account within 30 days. When this refund is performed, the USD conversion rate for the refund transaction may have changed from the original conversion rate when you made your purchase. The amount you receive will be more or less than the expected amount. This is due to market exchange rates and your bank exchange rate. We will not entertain a second round of refund request as exchange rates are volatile and changes by the minute. If you receive more than the expected refund, you are lucky and have made a forex translation gain.
9) When we refund to your credit card account, we cannot extract or store your credit card information as we are using the international payment gateway which has the highest security level in the world.
10) We will not entertain any refund to be made in cash or MYR as it may be fraudulent in nature. If you cancel your credit card before our refund is successful, please inform us in writing for our further action.
