This was the second time I was charged RM3.00 at the Kelana LRT parking without parking inside. As for the first time, I thought I was charged because I was staying inside the car park for too long that it was over the free period, which was stated 15 minutes. However, this time I was sure that I went in for less than 5 minutes. I drove out as soon as I could not see an empty lot. Yet, I was charged RM3.00 again. I had to drive to the open car park behind the LRT to park my car. I had to pay another RM3.00. I went to the Touch N Go reload counter in the station to ask about the matter but they told me to complain to the Touch N Go Careline, which is 03-76285115. I tried to call them but could not get through. While I was walking to my workplace, I called again. This time a lady answered the phone. I told her about the problem. She asked for my full name, I.C. number and my phone number and then she told me the procedure to log a complain. She asked me to write a letter about the incident and fax or email to her as soon as possible. The email address is careline@touchngo.com.my. In addition, I had to get the full name, I.C. number and staff I.D. of the person in charge of Kelana LRT station on any day and include into the letter. After she received the letter, then only the matter would be taken care of.
July 7, 2010 Updates:
- I reached Kelana LRT at 7.50 am but there was no more parking in the LRT. The entrances were blocked. After there was no parking in the LRT, they blocked the entrances to prevent people from driving into the parking area. At least, the RapidKL people did something to overcome this problem (not sure temporary or permanent). I think this could ensure no one will be charged RM3.00 since no one can enter the premise after all the parking lots are occupied. I am not sure whether my complaint is good for everyone or not. Maybe after RapidKL staffs closed the entrances, some will think that they cannot enter to park at spaces other than in the parking lot anymore and this will cause inconvenience to them. I would like to say sorry for that. I hope Touch N Go can fix this problem (maybe by changing the programming logic in the machine) instead of just blocking the entrances manually.
- Touch N Go people called me during the lunch hour to discuss about the complaint with me. I told them I was overcharged for two times between June to July. They checked for me and told me that they would refund the RM3 + Rm3 to me by sending a cheque or bank-in into my account. I opted the latter. She said it would take 14 days from today to process it. I was happy because my complaint was heard.

Spaces other than the parking lot. No easy to park in this small space.
Didn't know my parking skill was so good xD

*I spent more than RM3.00 (even if they return the money to me, it can't even cover my phone call fee) to call them and make this complain. I did all those troublesome procedure because I hoped they would do something about it so that others would not be the victim of this "Cheated N Go" machine at Kelana LRT station.
